Benjamin Allen is a freelance photojournalist based in North Salem, New York, documenting stories throughout New York, Connecticut, and the greater Northeast. Formerly the staff photographer and photo editor for The North Salem Post, he helped shape the visual narrative of the hyperlocal publication, focusing on the people, landscapes, and daily life of the community he calls home.
He is an alumni of The Eddie Adams Workshop 2025, and has studied with International Center of Photography, Maine Media Workshops, Andersen Ranch and Magnum Photos.
